Our birthday

It's officially our birthday month!
In 21 days Aaron will be 26 and I will be 23.

How in the hell did I already get 3 years into my 20's without realizing it? Someone please tell me. Or, just pass the geritol.

When I met Aaron I was 19. Still a teenager! A baby! I remember the night before my 20th birthday thinking, "If there is anything I wanted to do during my teens, I better do it now!" There wasn't anything. I think I was born an adult.
Sure, there was some stupid things I got into trouble for, but nothing outrageous. That's me, straight-laced and headstrong. (Depending on who you ask.)

Anyways, the point of this post was to remember my timeline. We all had one, I think. When we were younger and trying to grasp where we would be in our lives at a certain age, we made timelines. I think this is what mine resembled:

21- get married
22- buy a house
23- have first child
25- have second child
27- have third child
29- begin daycare business
30-600- live happily ever after

Yes, I really did think that I was going to live to be 600 when I was younger. I don't know why, I was a quirky child.

And as you can see, my 20's were going to be pretty much used up being pregnant. Well, it was a nice thought. ;)

21 days before our birthday comes and a fairy slaps us with age dust. 23 and 26. This has GOT to be our year for good things. You know, our year for a miracle...

Happy Monday!

Hey, you still have a whole year (and 21 days!) to technically have your first baby when you're 23! I bet it's your year :)

Rebecca, you are only 23. I know you don't feel only 23, but take it from someone who really needs that geritol (so stop hogging it, ok?), you're young, with plenty of time. I know when you're trying, and want something so badly, it doesn't feel that way... but I think you must.breathe.deeply.and.relax. I mean that from the perspective of a concerned reader :).

I mean, I'm 29... I'd like to have a baby by now, but I realize that it hasn't been the right time yet. I worry because I'm "running out of time", but that's mainly because I know it might not be easy for me to get pregnant...

You have time, and I believe it will happen for you! And when it does, you will be a great mom.

I laugh at you all. I will be 37 this year. Ahhh, to be 23 again. Youth is truly wasted on the young.
Don and I both have Sept. birthdays, although I'm a pure Virgo and he's a true Libra...
