The first day of the rest of my life.

After we went to see the sweetest baby in the world last night, we got home and got out the camera. "Before" pictures were taken. Hopefully these will also be "never again" photos as well. I think we both felt like awkward school kids on their first date. We didn't quite know what to do. We put our tracking calendar on the fridge and then put in "the dvd." Well, first we searched high and low for it because I put it in a drawer and forgot where, then we put it in.

We began. I'll admit, I let my arms droop a little half-way through because it was hard to keep my arms up. And then my legs got a little sore. Aaron struggled just a little himself. His shoulders started to ache. The dvd kept saying take a break if you need it. That just made me keep on going. Aaron looked over at me and asked me if I wanted him to press pause. I said 'no' through almost tears. A whirlwind of emotions, I kept my eye on the clock. I loved every minute of my pain. It was much easier with Aaron there too. Pretty soon we got to the floor work and it was a much needed break. Although not for my stomach since the floor work worked on the abs. Time was up. Aaron and I kind of stood watching the advertisements at the end and the success stories of those who began the journey we did. We didn't really know what to do. But then, I got up,

...and put an 'X' on the calendar, marking off the first day....one down, 35 more to go...
