Patterns

So I've noticed a trend that the worry doesn't stop once you become pregnant.

As of today, we've already failed at parenting by doing the following:

1. Getting new windows in our house. The smell of rubber caulk. Yum.

2. I've gotten my nails done. Arcylic chemicals are good for babies right?

3. I've eaten deli meat. I thought this would be better than the pizza I really wanted.

4. And I ate an apple yesterday that I just barely kept down. I think the baby was trying to tell me something. No nutritional food mom!

Now that our baby is the size of a rasberry, he/she thinks they can just take over and rule.

Know what? That's totally fine by us.

We have some names picked out but we are not totally set with them.

Girl: Isabella (Ella) Lee
Boy: Gavin Michael

We just have a funny feeling that its going to be a boy, who knows. With our luck we will think that our entire pregnancy and it will be a girl. Which is fine by us, just please God let the baby be healthy!

Do other pregnant women worry about that so much? I would google it but Aaron has banned me from all search engines. They are my own worst enemy.

Happy Hump Day!!

    I love the name Isabella.

My brother is Gavin and my dad is Michael so I love that name as well.

I think as a first time mom you do tend to over-worry. I know a few women who had their nails and hair done their entire pregnancy.

Have a good discussion with your doctor and see what the restrictions are.

I love, love, LOVE the name Isabella! If we have two girls (already have the first name picked out) I'd definitely go for Isabella. As for Lee, absolutely perfect, since it's my middle name as well as my future daughter's middle name as well ;)

Don't worry... I worry about EVERYTHING! My hubby freaked when I went to go get a pedicure and then I felt horrible for exposing the baby to fumes. I ate deli meat once then was terrified I'd poison the baby (I've never eaten it since then). I just try to be careful what I do b/c the worry afterwards is NOT worth it!! :) You should put a ticker up on your blog! It's amazing to watch the time pass like that. I can't believe I'm almost 18 weeks along, it feels like I was just 6 or 8 weeks yesterday.

I LOVE your names, they are so pretty!

When you get your nails done, just ask to be at the desk closest to the front door and be sure there's good ventilation. Moderation is the key, from what I've heard.

I'm not even pregnant yet and I worry worry worry...which is probably why I'm not pregnant.

I love the name Isabella. Very elegant, but still kind of down to earth.

What is wrong with eating deli meat??
