Running a little late

I hate days that start off hurried.

At some point our power must have went out leaving our alarm clock 45 minutes behind.

So instead of waking up at 5:30 to be to a 7am meeting, I woke up at 6:15. And we only woke up because Aaron got a phone call at that time. Otherwise, I would have totally missed the meeting.

I don't actually remember leaving the house either. Aaron threw my charging cell phone into my purse, threw a couple pieces of bread, cheese, and two waters into my bag for lunch. I jumped up, washed my face, brushed my teeth, threw on clothes, brushed my hair into a ponytail, did a quick line of eyeliner with blush, deodorant, and body spray, a prayer that I looked somewhat put together and I was out the door with a kiss.

This has GOT to be the fastest I've ever gotten ready in my life. The only downfall to my speedy dressing is...

...I believe I left the curling iron on.

Happy Humpday!!

i hate that feeling of wondering if i left something on!! luckily, my coffee maker has auto-shut off.

i had too many encounters with power outages = no alarm clock. i finally invested in a battery-operated alarm clock and it's been such a lifesaver!

God I hate being rushed, too. Always puts a major downer on the day. Cheers for making it through it :)
