The birds and the bees

So, did everyone get sat down to have this talk by someone? Who was it?

I'm 22, married, and still waiting for it.

Happy Friday!!

::ADDED:: It's a rainy dreary day here, a perfect night to stay home and rent a movie. What's good out right now?

Yep, my mom and I had the chat when I was in second grade. I don't think any of my friends ever had the talk with my parents, but my mom was always really open about things like that and not at all afraid/embarrassed to talk about it.

Yep...in 4th grade I think, actually I think mom waited for me to ask anything, which is what I did with my daughter, and then when answering her, only giving her bits of information until it seemed she was satisfied...you weren't perchance listening to Channel 95.5 this morning were ya? LOL

My mom got us the book "Where Did I Come From?" -- cartoon characters teaching us about sex....

No need to anymore. Just put them in front of MTV, and they'll have it all down pat within a few days.

I'm 22, married and I never got "the talk" either.

We had sex edu classes in the 5th grade. But my mom never approached the subject with me. I guess it's because she knew I had a good head on my shoulders already.

At least, I like to think that's the reason. LOL

I'm almost 44 and still haven't had "the talk." Perhaps I should call my mom and tell her it's time...

I had the same "where did i come from book" as Shannin.

I also learned a lot from friends. Somehow, I completely understood the "process" from a very early age (even sharing my knowledge with friends) but was never formally given the actul "talk" by my parents.
