Dropping the ball

I knew I shouldn't have done it, but I was so hungry and I hate those jelly donut things so I wanted to get my fat a different way. My way. I pulled in the drive through, which is a place I've not been to in a looong time at this hour. I placed my order and pulled ahead to be greeted with:

"I'm sorry ma'am, we're out of biscuits. Would you like it on a croissant instead?"

I glance at my clock, 7:50am. Barely two hours into breakfast hour. WHO THE HECK DOESN'T MAKE ENOUGH BISCUITS FOR BREAKFAST?!

I politely declined and peeled out of there faster than she could say she was sorry.

Stupid breakfast biscuit. My grapes will totally taste better than your biscuity, buttery goodness any damn way.

Ha! Take that, you stupid biscuts....

I probably would have said yes on the croissant. I'm very proud you said no....

Haha! When things like that happen (for me, it's always McDonalds being out of ice cream, which is my fav.), I consider it a sign. Of course I feel better later for not having eaten it, but overall... it still pisses me off.
