Whothewhata?

Welp, I sure did it. Yep, I always knew one day my stress and anxiety would eventually catch up with my body. And it happened last week. I got all itchy Tuesday and Wednesday when the in-laws came for dinner I was itchy, Thursday night while eating dinner I was scratching my back and finally had enough and asked Aaron to look at my back. I flung my shirt off and immediately I knew what he was going to say. Yep, I had broken out into hives everywhere. A trip to my dermatologist and after he asked me 50 times how I've been feeling lately, he told me I've created a virus that is trying to come out. Some Rx's and some samples later, he more or less told me I should probably look into some anti-anxiety medicine. Nice. And the funny thing is, I did this to myself. By not being able to handle my stress, I've run myself down and made myself sick. Not flu sick, but sick sick. So all of this madness prompted me to take a look at my life and see if I really have a reason to be stressed, so here goes:

In the past year:

1. Aaron lost, and got another job.
2. I quit a job, and started another job.
3. We moved 3 times.
4. We bought a house.
5. We got engaged.
6. We bought a puppy.
7. We bought a kitty.
8. Bought a boat.
9. Both Aaron and I were attending night school.
10. We are now graduating.

The past week:
1. I'm still planning that wedding.
2. Had the to-be inlaws and grandparents out to the house for dinner.
3. Applied for a loan to reduce our debt.
4. Aaron graduates on Saturday.
5. Chaya and Delia got spayed.
6. We added some friends to our wedding party.
7. Aaron got pulled over on Sunday when we were coming home from up north. (no, no ticket.)
8. Had to have the repair guy at work kill a spider for me because I was sure I saw one on the stairs an hour ago.

Yeah, I think maybe I got too much on my plate....

PS: Sorry for the little hiatus....hey, don't you think I needed it?

Oh my...I'd say you deserve more than a little hiatus! I'm also prone to the whole hive thing but mine like to come out as little fiery red spots on my FACE! Whenever I get them I have to take a minute to think about what's going on around me and more times than not there's some big stressor staring me in the face! Good luck on all you have going on!!

Honey, you need to take a deep breath - you're making me tired just reading you. I know you've got Aaron fully allocated with things to do, but what about your maid/matron of honor or your mother? Do you have a sister or sister in law that you'd trust with some of these things? You've got to take some time for yourself and time to enjoy this period with Aaron and that's just not going to happen if you're stressing yourself into hives. (I know of what I speak, since I'm frequently catching myself itching my neck or chest raw when I'm stressing.)

Big hugs from me - wish I were closer so that I could be of some help!
