Lights Out

I have school tonight. Walking across campus in the rain is soooo much fun. Did I ever tell you that?

Aaron zonked out at 8 last night, leaving me to clean the house, take care of the animals, lock up the house for the night, etc. by myself.

Tonight....it's my turn to go to bed early....wooohahahahaha.

Wait, actually, he did wake up for a moment to listen to my sister scream in delight into the phone that she finally lost* her tooth that was pushing another one forward. It totally needed to come out.

*Lost actually means my mom had to coax her with two games of UNO and then said she just wanted to see the tooth. At this point losing the tooth meant touching the thing and it fell out no problem.

My sister didn't even realize she had lost it. Crazy girl, she's lucky she didn't swallow it in her sleep. Literally, a tooth just sitting there. When I was young, I used to stay awake for hours working on those loose teeth. I wanted the money. Of course, the minimum wage on teeth has risen since then. Used to be a buck or two for me, what about you? I hear the going rate now is 5 bucks, or your age. What was the black market rate for a tooth when you were young?

I got a quarter for each tooth. One lousy quarter! It may be a good thing, however, because if the going rate had been $5, I would have been working those pliers on my teeth every night...

The rate for teeth was anout 50 cents or so, more for molars and the front teeth. I wish I was getting $5....
